Getting there: Taxi fare to The Coconut Malorie Resort is $25–$35.
Getting around: Cars are not necessary—and not practical—in Ocean City, a small beach town that is flooded with tourists in the summer. Instead, guests can leave the car at home or at the hotel and walk to the beach and the many nearby restaurants and shops. For ventures farther afield, a day pass on the local bus costs $2.
